Castle Albrechtsberg opens its doors not only for great receptions and important conferences but also for concerts on a regular basis. Musicians and the audience alike are invariably fascinated by the Crown Hall’s acoustics.

Many consider it to be the most beautiful chamber music hall of Dresden.

 

The concert series “Meisterkonzerte at Castle Albrechtsberg” has become established within the rich cultural life of the city of Dresden. Since 1993, famous artists from all over the world have performed here. The Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra invites the audience to its seasonal concerts.

 

A nice tradition has been kept up for many years now by staging the “Sunday Concerts“:

On many Sundays of the year young artists of the Dresden Musical Academy perform at castle Albrechtsberg.

 

Other institutions also welcome the opportunity to use the Crown Hall for their performances.

The summer concerts on the water stage of the Roman Bath or on the terraces of castle Albrechtsberg enjoy great popularity.

 

 

 

The Turkish Bath is a great setting for readings for children and adults. But also the castle’s other rooms are great venues for readings. These are available as individual event, combined with a guided tour and reception or as part of an event.
