A castle because of love builds...
As a prince Albrecht von Preussen to itself in the middle 19th century to the banks of the river Elbe lowered, he followed the call of his heart. Rosalie von Rauch, dear-charming court lady, had won his affection, so that Albrecht separated from his first wife, princess Marianne of the Netherlands.
To escape from the family quarrelling after his not in keeping with own standing marriage with Rosalie and the severe etiquette at the Prussian court(yard), he chose Dresden as a domicile. With the vineyards and the beautiful view of the city the prince acquired a property which belongs to the most beautiful ones of the region.
Particularly delightfully is the 13 ha park landscape surrounding the castle with a lot of magnificent trees, artificially to invested sources, ponds and fountains.
Already in 1811 lord Findlater, a more Scottish count, to the magic of this place square had succumbed. Instead of the current castle he allowed to establish a country house of big brilliancy and comfort.
